ABOUT

Taylor Packer holds both a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Piano Performance from Utah State University. He has been working as a full-time Piano Technician since finishing his graduate studies in 2018.

His training as a Piano Technician includes: completing an internship at Utah's Steinway Dealer, working as a student technician at an All-Steinway School, and apprenticing with Steinway Technicians. He has also attended the Steinway & Sons factory in New York three times for the Regulation and Touch Seminar, Voicing and Tone Production Seminar, and Spirio Seminar.

Taylor regularly completes work for many professional organizations including: the Utah Symphony, Utah's Steinway Dealer: Daynes Music, and Utah State University.

PRICING

$185 + Tax: Tuning and Maintenance Appointment (2 Hrs)

While many companies charge extra for a Pitch Raise and each additional service, this appointment always includes:

Pitch Raise (if needed)
Tuning
Any Additional Services/Improvements that can be completed with the remaining time

Typically about 1-1.5 Hours of the appointment is spent pitch raising/tuning. 30-45 minutes is spent on other improvements.

Maintaining the condition, musical capability, and monetary value of your piano requires more than just tuning. That's why we spend time improving your piano at every appointment through voicing, cleaning, adjusting action parts, etc. These services should be a regular part of caring for your piano.
